16 hours of air left and pilot eight is sent off into the great beyond. As everyone settles back in and starts dozing off, Gaeta is in pain and decides to inject himself with morpho. As he passes out for a four hour nap he dreams of his time spent with "sweet" eight on New Caprica and a discussion they had about saving prisoners from the detention center. As eight gets upset because a child has gone missing, Gaeta comforts her and they share a kiss.

"Sweet" eight rouses Gaeta from his drug induced nap and tells him that she can interface with the computer to try and calculate a jump back to the fleet.
