Knight - I will try to make either the 9pm or 11pm broadcast of "Caprica" tonight.  My group is holding a wrap party for our gropu tonight.  I'm thinking about going but not sure.  If I do, then I may be in at 11.  If not, then I may be just in at the regular time.

Pretty much every single online community has one of these threads where anything goes, where you just talk about anything and everything, get to be silly, and get to know each other. Some of these I've seen reach 80,000 posts on some of the sites I was a member of.

Anyways, time we had one too Smiley And what better that our own Joe's Bar! We can say we too here ab BSG Pilots hanged out at Joe's Bar! Smiley

I'd like to start by saying...how darn awesome would it be to make a bar like this in real life? Just use all the set pieces, reconstruct the set...and put that Viper up there hanging from the ceiling.

I can gurantee you, it'd become the most popular bar in the world! If I had the time and money, I'd have thought about something like this.

It'd just be so awesome!

Well I’m glad I worded it well enough. I was raised in politics and got a strong distaste for it by an early age. The RI Democratic Party had high hopes for me but I went and joined the Army and never looked back. Since I have learned my politics from life experiences. I don’t consider myself a Democrat but I am by no meant a complete follower of the Republican Party. I guess I would call myself a liberal conservative. LOL I know it’s an oxy moron. I choose to vote for whom I feel will work with the best interests for all and unfortunately in my opinion we didn’t have any good choices this past election. I am however as I said before very proud to be an American at a time when we elect a black man as our President even if I don’t agree with him.

You may remember this then Ken if you were near the Vermont area since they got hit with this as well. These pics are from Ice storm '98. Most places were coated with 2 solid inches of ice, no power for weeks and had the canadian military spread across form Toronto to Quebec city in order to help.

Well as another Yankee transplant in SC I have got to agree with the fact, you can keep that crap. Last real snow I saw was in 2005 when we got hit with the second worst blizzard in the states history. I got called in for the guard and my Jeep was burried in snow I had to dig a path to the door and rock my way out of the drift then barrel through a few 10' snow drifts on my way in just to drive Dr's and nurses back and forth to work. I moved down here a week later. Most I have seen since is a slight dusting.

God I’m in a great mood today. I just finalized a deal to get 2 Corvettes for 6K. One is an 86 that is mostly a parts car the other in a 90 that is missing it’s emissions equipment. I already have an 87 that needs a bit more on it’s interior before it’s ready to sell so the parts off the 86 will get my 87 up and running and make the 90 street legal so when I’m done I’ll have two great Vettes that I can sell and then get my dream car, a 1972 Corvette Stingray. I am sooo close I can taste it.
