Hi All,

Just wanted to give you all a heads up that in the near furute i'll be pulling the bsg music from the site so get it while it lasts.  I wanted this music to be available for these patrons of this site (and still do), but I don't want the whole collection to end up as a torrent somewhere and be sent around to who knows where.  The main purpose of the mixes was for the jukebox.  It is to give us all a tide-over until the soundtrack comes and to celebrate and feature the great work by Bear McCreary.  Since I can't guarentee that the work won't be distrubuted by others and violate McCreary's copyright any more than I have, I'll be disabling the links.   in a couple of weeks.

No hard feelings and I'll help folks get the tunes I've mixed if you talk to me privately.  I appreciate all the support and encouragement and hope you all will understand.

Enjoy them and keep them and we'll all revel in our sounds especially when the "real" soundtrack is released.

I'm still in the game Tigh.  Where there's music to be mined, I'm gonna get it fer ya'll.  I copied the collection to CD today and it took 4 CD's.  That's over 5 hours of music.  I just wanted these to be for us for starters.  I'll be doing some more work and maybe getting things more organized.  I'm really glad everyone likes em and must say that i'm enjoying them pretty much too especially now that the presure is off and I can enjoy them like you all.

Hey All

Here is some good good news, Bear McCreary on his blog has given some estimated dates as to when we can see soundtracks for Caprica, Razor & The Plan, and Season 4.

Another bonus is that the Season 4 soundtrack is going to be a 2 cd set.

According to Amazon.com, it appears that the Season 4 soundtrack is tentatively scheduled for release on July 21st, seven days prior to the release of Season 4.5.

While this has not been officially confirmed by either Bear McCreary or LaLa Land Records, Bear McCreary did indicate in one of his blogs that the S4 soundtrack would come out in the later half of July.

According to Bear McCreary's Blog, it appears the Season 4 soundtrack is currently in the top 100 for music sales and is the #1 soundtrack on Amazon.  Its is so popular that LaLa Land Records has sold out of their initial printing of the soundtrack.  Don't fear they are printing more to meet the demand.

Well according to La La Land Records website, it appears that release date for the Season 4 soundtrack has been rescheduled to be released on July 28th the same day the Season 4.5 comes out.

Also the Season 4 soundtrack has the distinction of being La La Land Records 100th release.  Way to go BSG

Just to whet your whistle here is a link to the Amazon.com  site for a taste of the shape of things to come as to what we can expect to hear on the Season 4 Soundtrack

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0028ERCMU/ref=s9_simz_gw_s0_p15_i1?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=center-5&pf_rd_r=1XYGP24Q0QJRPYP471P5&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=470939291&pf_rd_i=507846

If the samplers are just a taste of what we can expect to hear, I think the wait will be well worth it

Enjoy
