A little update for you guys on something!

First of all, long time no see guys! I'm busy with First Strike, a Star Wars mod for 2142. Not only am I part of the testing team there I'm also now helping with some other areas of the mod including mapping.

Adalls tried the mod back in its first release, since then we've now moved up to v1.4 along with some other minor updates for bug fixing. If you haven't tried it I strongly suggest you do, its possibly the best Star Wars gaming experience to date, except of course for XvT Wink

Not only do we have regular old infantry maps, we also have space combat maps, where fighters face off against each other and mighty capital ships group together for fleet engagements.

You can find out more at www.fsmod.com but for now and to give you an idea of what is on offer, heres a little video I have created and which has just been released, previewing the in progress map Jundland Wastes. The map features many famous locations from Tatooine and will be included in our next release.

Twigs! How ya been bro? Hope you and the family are doing well...

Nice post about the mod. I didn't know it existed. I will be sure to check it out now. BTW, you see my post about Oct. 9? Hope you can make it bro...you should pop in more often! Take it easy!

Another little update guys, shameless plug I know Wink

Well, we've finally taken the wraps off one of our latest vehicles, the Imperial Sentinal Landing Craft!

With a fully textured interior for our passengers to relax in while not hunting Rebel scum!

First Strike rocks. When I get my new workstation I'll be sure to try FS out sometime again.

One last advertisement!

Yes, version 1.5 now has a release date. What can you expect? Well, a map made by little old me! Inspired by the good old X-Wing series of games, this is a reimagining of the Parmel assault mission, featuring the Imperial Station Research, home of the TIE Defender project. Just like the XvT style online gameplay, the only objective here is to decimate the enemy forces.

You'll also be able to wander the Jundland Waste's, visit Tosche Station, Lars Homestead, Motesta, Anchorhead and many more.

New craft include the ATPT, Sentinel Landing Craft, MLC-3 and an X-Wing series inspired Virella Systems Cargo Tanker.
