What you've seen so far is the "Padlock" view, which basically means that your view follows your current target - this is activated with a simple keypress. In addition to this, TrackIR is supported for those who have the hardware for it. Free view outside of these two options is currently not supported, but may well be in the future.

Ah sorry, I saw it, but I didn't comment it here.
Yeah I am happy to see the devs' job is made easier with those improvements, although I don't understand what exactly those are, but I need not know. All I need to know is that you guys are giving your best, for free, to make a great game.
And no rush with the game's first release, better quality, than a quick release with little quality.
I truly look forward to trying it all out, I can't wait to get a feel for the flight!

Wow, it is pretty well done and very detailed, I have absolutely no criticism for the way the model was done. I wonder what it'll look like fully textured, and if I get to launch out of the tube when R1 is out, I think I'll die of joy.
