And you really are dying to know what the frak happened to Earth and want to have at least a little clue, then watch the video below.

It is not really a spoiler because it has been aired officially by the SciFi Channel in a recent promo. However, it's easy to not notice a little scene which happens in a fraction of a second unless it is slowed down. But thanx to smcki10 we can now see the scene clearly in the slowed down video. Either way, watch at your own discretion.

In this video at 0:43 I believe Anders asks Tyrol "Do you notice something" and Tyrol replies "yeah"

Very interesting indeed...

This brings me back to an early theory I had about the FF in that they were cybernetic regenerative clones of five (scientists? maybe) important people with their their "soul" implanted into their memory, if you will. When Earth's holocaust began they sent them into the universe looking for the fabled "lost 12 tribes of man." So just like the colonies were aware of a 13th colony, the 13th colony was aware and looking for the 12 colonies...whew! That unfortunately still doesn't explain where the cycle fits in...

I've never been able to quite put down in words what I see in my brain but I think you all get the gist of it.

What I really want to know is who is saying "Go back where you came from." Do they in fact find someone alive on Earth? Perhaps some sort of Guardian?

And to add to what I was saying earlier...

The cycle could've started on Earth of present day. We sent out colonies that became Kobol and the others and then we destroyed ourselves. And now those colonies we sent out are returning; having experienced the same end as Earth so to speak, maybe even to restart colonization on Earth? That would fulfill the circle and, thanks to human nature, set it up to start all over again. As now they will eventually return to the colony worlds. It would also be frakked up as it means we're all hybrids in the end...how fitting! This means to me that more than likely Daniel graystone is the Final Cylon as he was the scientist that created the Cylons each cycle. He would carry in him the knowledge to create artificial beings. WOW, I think I finally said what I've had rattling around my brain for years!

Interesting theories A-Dog.

It does seem that Earth experienced a catastrophe and that the inhabitants left. I mean the last scene in Season 4.0 demonstrates that much and Tyrol's flashback indicates this too.

We know the 12 Colonies had a similar fate, with a catastrophe and an exodus. And possibly Kobol too, we have some sources that say there was a war on Kobol that led to the Exodus.

The big question has always been how do you link the Exodus of these 3 inhabited planetary systems in the big Cycle of BSG. Where does it start and end.

My guess right now is that the cycle goes something like this.

Starts in Kobol or Earth. It doesnt matter really, because it's a cycle...so it's not a linear relationship. A start on one point of the cycle can be an end too. BUt we gotta pick one.

So Kobol has the Exodus of the 13th Tribe to Earth and the 12 Tribes to the 12 Colonies. Then we have the Exodus of the 13th Tribe and/or the original inhabitants of Earth to most likely Kobol and/or the 12 Colonies. And of course the Exodus of the 12 Tribes from the 12 Colonies to find Earth.

It is possibly that there is more than one visit to EArth per cycle.

Here is a list of Exodii Tongue

Kobol ---> 13th Tribe Exodus to Earth
Kobol ---> 12 Tribes Exodus to 12 Colonies
Earth ---> 13th Tribe Exodus back to Kobol or 12 Colonies
12 Colonies ---> 12 Tribes Exodus to Earth
Earth --->12 Tribes Exodus back to 12 Colonies or Kobol

It's like pieces of a puzzle. Which piece goes where? lol

I think things will become clearer after we watch Sometimes a Great Notion and the closer we get to the end

We wont have to remain in the dark and theorize for much longer. I hunger to know the Truth, but at the same time I know when I know it I'll be nostalgic of these times when anything was possible.

I hope we'll be able to continue to theorize with the Caprica series...

Thanks for kinda simplifying things. Like I said elsewhere on here, I just had to pull all my thoughts and details out of my head before I lost my moment of clarity.

I'm with ya on the nostalgia...Caprica will keep us going i'm sure.
