The Face of The Enemy" Webisode #5 Online Now!
16 hours of air left and pilot eight is sent off into the great beyond. As everyone settles back in and starts dozing off, Gaeta is in pain and decides to inject himself with morpho. As he passes out for a four hour nap he dreams of his time spent with "sweet" eight on New Caprica and a discussion they had about saving prisoners from the detention center. As eight gets upset because a child has gone missing, Gaeta comforts her and they share a kiss.
"Sweet" eight rouses Gaeta from his drug induced nap and tells him that she can interface with the computer to try and calculate a jump back to the fleet. At that moment the knuckle dragger falls over and an overdose worth of syringes falls out of his hand. The others on the Raptor awake to see him dead and automatically assume the eight did it. They proceed to tie her up as she comforts Gaeta. This webisode was one of the longer ones to date and really set up the arc for the end.
The webisodes were written by BSG alumni writer Jane Espenson. Her credits include "He That Believeth In Me," "The Hub" and "Escape Velocity."
Contrary to what was first announced, the webisode was directed by Wayne Rose, and not either Jamie Bamber or James Callis.
The Face of The Enemy stars Allessandro Juliani as Lt. Gaeta, Michael Hogan as Colonel Tigh, Grace Park as Boomer/Athena and Brad Dryborough as Lt. Hoshi.
Sci Fi has two ways to watch. A regular version and an
