The Face of The Enemy" Webisode #10 Online Now!


There's only 21 minutes of air left...we see Gaeta covered in blood and the "sweet" eight is dead on the raptor floor. Felix begins to sing his lament (was this song in relation to Sweet eight all along?) as he begins to shoot himself up with enough morpha to make sure he doesn't die of asphyxiation. Before he can take the last injection though he is found by Hoshi and Racetrack.

Back on the Galactica he is debriefed by Colonel Tigh. Gaeta asks to speak directly to Admiral Adama and when asked why he states to Tigh, "because you're a Cylon, sir!" He then walks out of the CIC and down the hall where Hoshi is inquiring about what Gaeta knows and has to tell Adama. Felix gives him a cryptic answer and tells him to "keep his head down"and "if I'm wrong you have a bright future."

What does Gaeta know? Why is Tigh in charge? The answers, my friends are now just 4 days away...

Tigh is not in charge he is still the XO. He refered to the "old man" and the Admeral so that infers that Adama is still in charge. On the other hand did you see the debris on the deck as they were wheeling Gaeta in?

Well, it's funny that Gaeta had to ask permission to speak to Adama (he never did before) and Tigh blew him off and said he could talk to him later at the meeting. Something doesn't seem right there...and yeah, the Galactica is trashed for some reason...

Awesomeness!  Can't wait to see how they tie it to the series.

I don't know why Gaeta asked permission to speak to Adama.  It strikes me as odd though. 

I have to think that Cavil's side attacked at some point. (That would explain the debris.) 

Other than that, I think it is interesting how Gaeta talks to Tigh now that Tigh's been outed as a Cylon.

I think it is interesting that Tigh is STILL XO, despite the fact that everyone knows he's a Cylon.

I assume, he and Adama are...friends...again.
                                OR
He and/ or the other four Cylons have done something during a attack ( it's most likely a attack or the fire from the
clue site that caused that damage to the bucket ) that convinced the Admiral/ Crew/ President that they are worthy of trust.

The Webisodes play a couple of days AFTER they found earth, who knows what happened in the time between
Revelations, Sometimes a Great Notion and the webisodes, which play definatly after the episode to come.

It seems to me that the webisode ties directly into an episode. Like we'll see Gaeta talking to Adama ect. If true I have to laugh. I don't if any follow Heroes and their webisodes. They are always going on about how the webisodes tue directly tinto the show. But when you watch them they usually never have anything to do the show's story.

Also the line Tigh has about Tyrol having a new idea is interesting. To me seems like the FF have an idea on where to do next.

That was for sure a fantastic webisode and a fantastic way to end them and pump us up for S4.5

Alessandro Juliani does a magnificent acting job in this one. He has gone WAY up on my list because of these webisodes and how well he acts. His character also just became a lot more fascinating and interesting to me. It is adding new depths to it that we never really explored.

Of course, the famous "she" that he keeps singing about, I'm really starting to wonder who the heck this she is.

Who do I think this  "she" is?

Starbuck

She is currently in a "shirt of man" , meaning the body of a human but she isnt really herself. She even stated this in one of the episodes in Season 4, when she says her body feels alien to herself, as if she were looking at life and herself through somebody else's eyes.

She definitely has struggled a lot with love. Between Zak, Lee and Anders...she is definitely searching for true love and has not yet found it yet. Gaeta wishes her to find it at last.

Lastly, I believe her current state is the "dream of life" from which we all must awake. She is tormented in her Divine quest, and she has been "there and back", and I believe Gaeta is referring to the fact that Starbuck will one day "awaken' from this life by either "dying" again and going back to the "real" state of existance, or...by becoming self-aware as the Final Cylon and her true nature...

Adalla that made a ton of sence. I never looked at it that way before. I'm just in awe now. I realy can't wait to see what is going on now. All these good ideas it will be nice to see what is the correct one.

Interesting thoughts Adalla.  Not sure how I feel about the potential of Starbuck being the FC thought...  I try not to think too hard about it...mainly because my brain is fried after class... Sad  Maybe something will hit me later tonight.

Nice theory old man...Like I said a few weeks ago...I finally pulled my thoughts on the cycle, the FF and the FC out of my head and put them out there...now, my speculation is over. I want to just let it unfold and be what it will be with an open mind. I'm still very intrigued with the little clues and what they mean....I just refuse to let them consume me...this will undoubtedly be the biggest finale in TV history....
