Adama & Roslin on the View

Edward James Olmos and Mary McDonnell were guests on the daily talk show "The View" today. Try browsing your cable channels to see if there is a repeat of it. I know here in Canada there is a repeat at 10pm MST.

EDIT: Thanx to our Fleet News Seeker, Knighthawkdc, we now can present the interview here Smiley Enjoy!

I layed out the cabin today. It's gonna have an easternly view. You should see the light we get here when the sun comes up from behind those mountains. It's almost heavenly. Reminds me of you. - Admiral William Adama

Holy!
They offered EJO the role of Jean Luc Picard in Star Trek: TNG!!!

And he said No.

Hm, on the on side, pitty.
On the other...cool, most actors grow "tired" of their Sci-Fi roles they playing.
Imagine, BSG WITHOUT EJO, because he ( PROBABLY ) had enough of Sci-Fi.

The other thing is, from the few episodes i've seen, Patrick Stewart ( Picard ) is a good actor, and it's hard to imagine EJO in the Star Trek uniform after you've seen him in BSG.

EJO as Picard would have rocked! Don't get me wrong...I think in the end Stewart was the man born for that role...but EJO would have brought a commanding performance in his own way i'm sure. I'm confident all worked out as it should have in the Sci Fi Verse.
