Now Adalla I would love to know what the reaction was like at the frack party when Dee shot herself. That must have been a trip. I can just imagine the hush and OMG's flying around the room.
Dawg, it was the first time I had watched any BSG with such a large group of people. It was like being at the theater so you get to experience everything as a group, and get to see other people's real reaction to the show.
I was surprised actually as there was a lot more laughing than I thought ther would be. It was mostly during the episode Revelations rewatch though, but also during Sometimes a Great Notion. People laughed in very dramatic moments, times when I did not laugh. Like when Leoben got scared of STarbuck and started backing away, I didnt find that funny at all, on the contrary I found it very dramatic.
But with Dee, I was kindo too much in shock to truly notice what the others were doing, but for sure, from what I recall there was a collective gasp and some "Ohhhhhhhhh" s.
It was more shocking and evoked more feelings for me than did the shooting of Adama by Boomer, or Natalie by Athena, or the slap of Cally by Tory, or the shooting of Boomber by Cally.
This one tops them all and was in a league all of it's own. Dee I think wins Best Actress Award for that Episode in my book. And Katee Sackhoff definitely wins best Supporting Actress Award for that episode.
