Well it ain't so bad.. apart from the fact we gotta watch it a day after everyone.. Someone gave me a linky to a page that offers live streaming of the SCI-FI channel, but the quality ain't much. ( It's free, after all)
HD quality BSG episodes aren't that bad. Tongue

It is no secret that torrents and downloads of Battlestar Galactica episodes is what made Battlestar Galactica popular and successful in the first place when Sky One aired the Miniseries in the UK months before SciFI did in the US, and all the Americans downloaded the show anyways and by the time it aired on SciFi, it was already widely popular and thus ratings were higher than they would have been.

The people who "officially" are against pirating are actually glad for it because it is free marketing and advertising for them and in the end they make more money because more people know about it and people DO end up watching it on TV more, and more people buy the DVDs.

More and more networks stream full episodes on their websites, from NBC to SciFi, and Hulu and other such sites are starting to also stream eps.

Having said all this, just like SciFi and NBC, BSGpilots "officially" does not condone the downloading of BSG episodes, but just like them, we and everyone else knows that everybody does it, and everybody understand in the end it's in the best interest of everyone, including the production companies and networks.

YouTube is a fine example of the breach of copyright by millions of videos, and they'll warn people of copyright and take down some vids now and then, but it's just to show that they are "officially" against it. However, YouTube and the people who try to protect their work know very well that YouTube videos that "breach copyright" actually are one of their primary advertisting, marketing and promotion tools, and to boast, they dont pay a dime for it all.

To conclude, simply dont discuss such matters in public. In private, you may do whatever you wish Smiley

I'm guessing I'll get a Blue Ray drive for my next PC in a month or so, so if I do, then I'll get the Blue Ray BSG.

Otherwise just gonna get 4.5 DVD Set, The Plan, and Caprica and whatever else comes out on DVD Smiley
