For those who are interested, CB2001 & myself Knighthawkdc will be doing a rewatch of BSG starting with the mini.  It will be an informal get together for those who want to watch the series uninterrupted.  We will be doing it every thursday night, in the Launch Tube starting on 04/30/09.  Due to the mini running about 3hrs we will be starting at 8pm EST that day.

Just to let everyone know this is an  informal & unofficial rewatch, (but an official rewatch may come later).

So for those that are interested please join us, maybe we can solve some of the riddles BSG left us with, or discover new ones.

Knighthawkdc   Cool

Knight- I'm sorry I didn't show up for Operation: Rewatch tonight.  I'm a bit scatterbrained due to bad news given to me by my father.  I'm not sure if you remember what happened with Sadie last year, but we lost her (she was a dog) to old age.  After a couple of months, may parents adopted a brother and sister Schnauzer pack named Tammy and Timmy from Schnauzer rescue.  My dad informed me last time that Timmy has died due to pancreatitis.  Due to what happened, I barely got much sleep last night due to crying myself to sleep.  It wasn't even a year since we had gotten both of them.  I know my mom and dad (especially my dad) is taking it hard.  I just felt I should apologize for not showing up like I should have, because what happened caused me to forget about it until I realized it was too late.

CB that's terrible...my condolences to you and yours.

After 23 years in the pet industry may I make some suggestions? A lot of study has been made the last few years about the impact of "processed" foods in dogs and cat use. Basically, after it is processed, pressed, formed and baked, a lot of dry and wet dog foods are just nutritionally deficient. The foods lack the most important ingredient...LIVE ENZYMES!

I suggest your parents look into the Raw and Dry foods from Nature's Variety. The raw foods are little medallions that come in Lamb, Chicken, Beef and Venison and are chock full of live enzymes, micro bone chips to keep teeth healthy and tartar free and are lean to promote stable weight. The dry foods from Nature's Variety are called Prarie (Lamb, Venison, Beef or Chicken) and Instinct, which is a totally grain free (therefore non-allergenic) food. Their dry foods are coated with enzymes that go live when the dog ingests it and gets it wet obviously.

What this company has found is that the enzyme content has proven to reduce incidents of kidney issues, cancers and yes, even pancreatitis. If I can help let me know....

My sympathies to you and your folks,

Adam

Thanks, Skull.

Hey, Knight, I guess this week isn't lucky for me either for the Rewatch.  According to my class schedule, I've got a lab on Thursday that goes from 2100 to 0100 (9 pm to 1 am), so I may need to either start the rewatch earlier or may have to save it Friday.  Either way, I can't do it at 9 pm on this upcoming Thursday, but every Thursday after that I'll be able to make the 9pm on Thursday.

New Update: Due to a bit of a family emergency (nothing really drastic, but it's important), my availability for Friday is not possible.  Also, due to Knight's plans on going to see "Angels & Demons" on Saturday night, the only other night that's available for us is Sunday night at 9 o'clock.  However, after that, every Thursday after that will be the normal viewing at 9 pm.  If there are any other updates, I'll be more than happy to update.

IIRC It was supposed to turn out to be Boxy. Except his entire S1 part ended up on the cutting room floor. :p

Hey All

This week we will be moving Operation: Rewatch to Friday night at 9pm.  We're doing this to see if it might be more convenient to other members.

Also if you are interested in participating, we would like to know what day or time is best for you.  Please send either myself or CB2001 a pm to let us know
