Ya know, with all the technology we experience today it does make one wonder. Is this all that we are? Is there in fact more? Was there more somewhere in our past? We're so conditioned to believe that we are alone in the Universe but with billions of undiscovered planets out there why couldn't there be more? If we are alone as Jodie Foster's dad said in Contact..."it would be a terrible waste of space."

I for one would like to believe deep down in my heart of hearts that all of this could very well of happened before, and it certainly could happen again. Call me weird but it is actually a comforting thought that we may be on our 4th or 5th go round in the cycle. Human nature is, after all, predictable and repeating.

Oh I'm positive there is more life out there, and that all of this has happened before and will happen again. Not just on a society-level but also on an individual level. We each play a part on the story, each time from a different perspective.

I really do believe something along the lines of what Leoben described to Kara when he was being tortured.

It makes sense to me. A nice thing to believe.
