Joe's Bar hits 20,000 views!
BSGpilots has come a long way since it was founded as a match-making site for BSG gamers back in August 2007. We have been averaging over 45,000 pageviews per month for the past year and we get up to 20 users browsing our BSG home at any one time daily.
Our Fleet News Service has produced over 140 news features and articles, most averaging over 500 views.
We certainly do not have the most members, but we hold our own with 143 registered. We do not have the most posts, but certainly 9000 posts is a start.
So we are not the largest or most active site, but we have been around for over 2 years now, and one thing is for sure, many of us have come to call it "home".
We have certainly made a name for the one BSG site that promotes BSG fan projects, for our live chat events in our "Launch Tube" and our Fleet News Service which offers a different spin on BSG news.
Well, one of the special features of our site, our little home within a home, is our very own Joe's Bar. A thread where anything goes, where our members go to catch up on one another, to celebrate events in their lives, and to just hang out in this virtual bar of ours.
Joe's Bar has reached a milestone today of 20,000 views with nearly 500 posts. It's what prompted the writing of this article.
We just wanted to say that even if things have quieted down after the ending of the BSG Series, we are still here, and we are still going strong!
