Have you recently bought a Battlestar Galactica DVD box set or a DVD movie? If so, let us know that you are supporting the people who make BSG.

It is DVD sales that determine whether future BSG movies or series will be made, and here at BSG Pilots we do our best to promote the sale of DVDs and the viewing of the Show through official channels.

As for me, I have the DVD Season 1, Season 2, Season 2.5, Season 3, Season 4.0 and Season 4.5 DVDs sets. I'm owner of Razor, The Plan BSG movies and the Caprica DVD.

I do not have a Blu-Ray player, so I have not bought any of the Blue rays for BSG.

So I can say I have contributed my share of USD 350 or so to supporting BSG Smiley

And I swear, if it came out at the theaters, I'd have have watched them on screen at last 3 times each lol.  So good for my pocket that they did not hit the big screen Wink

I too have purchased the mini series, season 1, season 2.0 & 2.5, Season 3 & Season 4.0 & 4.5, and I also have The Plan and Razor, and all are on DVD from Universal.

I as well own the following:

-Miniseries then I bought...

-Season 1 on DVD (which again included the MS)  then I bought...

-Season 2 on DVD followed by

-Season 2.5 on DVD (and yes like y'all I felt ripped off. But I bought it anyhow) followed by

-Season 3, Season 1 AGAIN but on HD DVD, Razor, Season 4 (with yet another Razor), Caprica, Season 4.5 and finally...THE PLAN!

I am now taking donations to the Commander A-Dog retirement fund as I am now broke...LOL!

By the way. The Plan has taken in $4,959,582 as of November 8, 2009. Probably not the revenue they were hoping for...

I have the miniseries, all of the Season releases, Razor, Caprica, The Plan, BSG TOS movie, BSG TOS Complete Box set and (guilty pleasure) Galactica 1980 Season set.  Plus all of the soundtracks from Stu Philips, Richard Gibbs and Bear McCreary. Don't own a blu-ray and probably won't buy the Big Box Set.  I hope Universal will understand lol did like the little Cylon in the box though.  Waiting for Caprica series to begin and might buy the season if it grabs me.  I'd say they hooked me pretty good eh? lol. It was worth it.

What did the Series DVD's bring in A-Dog? If I remember over 70 million USD. But I think that was all of them?

What kind of revenue does Universal expect from the DVDs? What CAN they realistically expect? Might be good source for a FNS article lol. I'd be very interested.

Oh, and I will admit, I have not bought a single BSG soundtrack CD. But it's on my list most definitely, I sear Bear! I'll get them all in a single shopping spree one of these days and have a mega BSG music marathon day lol.
