Knight, if you read this, I'm sorry I was late getting into the chat.  I completely forgot today was Friday (week's been kinda chaotic).

I layed out the cabin today. It's gonna have an easternly view. You should see the light we get here when the sun comes up from behind those mountains. It's almost heavenly. Reminds me of you. - Admiral William Adama

The promo for Ep 105 gives me goosebumps. I am very exited to see Tamra taking center stage again. I really liked her plot-line and it will be very interesting to see yet another highly advanced Avatar/AI besides Zoe.

The Sneak Peak for 105 is also very exciting as you get to see the beginning of the end of the human race on the 12 worlds.

I'm hope that Tamra will be downloaded into another Cylon body and manifest in the real world. It basically sets up the stage for the Cylons actually having real personalities rather than just being a jumble of wires and chips.

All very exciting Smiley

I'll go first I guess lol

6 Episodes aired so far not including the Pilot, and I must say I was one of those people who enjoyed the Pilot back last year when it first aired and knew Caprica would be a great show from the very start. The 6 eps so far confirmed it for me, and I'm enjoying the show very much. It has that distinct Moore/Eick/McCreary feel to it that made BSG so great.

My biggest disappointment I must say is the music and the opening scene. Only a few rare times has the music been good IMO, and both the music and opening sequence of the show just turns me off. I'm sorry Bear, I'll be the first to rally under your banner for your incredible work in BSG, in fact a Tribute to your music for BSG is on the list to do for me, but in Caprica the soundtrackjust doesnt do it for me and I hope it changes. Thankfully, the story, acting and writing saves the show. The Cylong sub-plot is a bit slow, but I think it'll blow up into something big soon enough. The actors are all very likable and skilled, especially the Graystones and Adamas.

The VFX is pretty darn good, but many times I do notice low quality work, much more often than on BSG, and I'm not terribly surprised. Caprica is more focused on a more conventional story set in a city like any that can be found in the thousands of movies out there, so VFX plays a secondary role in all of it. Still, the architectural models are amazing. The buildings and homes etc are of great quality, and the Cylon animations are pretty good too.

Zoe is very pretty and portrays intelligence and passion. Daniel power, intelligence, class, style and wealth. Sam screams strength and coolness. Joseph is a mixture of Daniel and Sam. Amanda I'm not sure of yet. She fits well next to Daniel though. The Sister doesnt convince me much yet, but she does have a stare that hides fanaticism behind those eyes. Boy Adama shows intelligence from a young age. Tamara is just absolutely kick arse cool.

The rest of the characters have to grow on me still.

True what you said about the music. In BSG, the music has its own value, plus it's great that every more important character had what was kind of his/her own theme that evolved as they evolved. I hope that's what happens here as well at one point. The things that are tied with various tunes from BSG are part of the reason why I like listening to the music as well - they remind me of everything I loved about the show.
Caprica, unfortunately, doesn't have music that steals its way into your ears, at least for me.

The show itself is awesome, as you said, and it's getting better with every episode(some moments sucked at first)

Battlestar Galactica is not television. It is art in it's best light, full of beauty and hidden meanings.
